It is such a freezning cold day in Edinburgh that I had to dig up these photos from last winter when I was in Australia. I love this series that I took during a road trip up North along the East coast.  Traveling during most of the day, we only stopped for short periods of time because if you got out of the car the heat was unbearable. Blurry line of red earth and mango trees along the motorway.  Motels in the late afternoon; we always had the pool just for ourselves. Gekkos on the walls and weird tropical plants thet look monstrous in the darkness. The smell of dust, petrol, fast food and murky creeks.
