A few weaks ago I had the luck to photograph this lovely couple up at Calton Hill. It was a very special project with a surprise proposal for which they had came to Edinburgh all the way from Mexico… Of course, she said YES! At one point it was really hard to blink away the tears  in order to be able to keep taking photos as Roberto proposed. However, after all the excitement, we managed to find a few quiet moments before sunset, and make the most of the beautiful, golden light that lit up at the hill that afternoon.

Recently I prefer a minimalistic style and editing in my engagement photos as I find it really helps me to give back all the emotions, unique atmosphere, and quiet, intimate moments that are characteristic of these photoshoots.
